The Continental Divide Trail Run in Steamboat Springs offers a 50K, a 16-mile and a 5-mile trail race on August 28, 2027, winding through aspen and pine forests with views over the Yampa Valley. Start and finish are at the Steamboat ski resort.

  • 50K (31 miles): 6:00 a.m., about 5,500 feet of climbing with long stretches above 10,000 feet, reaching out to Long Lake
  • 16 Mile (25.7 km): 8:00 a.m., more than 3,500 feet of climbing, topping out at 10,420 feet
  • 5 Mile (8 km): 8:15 a.m., the shorter option

Most of the climbing is concentrated in the first 7.5 miles (12 km) of the course.
