Spring Creek Memorial Trail Run

The Spring Creek Memorial Trail Run in Steamboat Springs, Colorado, takes place on July 17, 2027, on the scenic Spring Creek Trail, with a 9.5-mile race (15.3 km) at 8 a.m. and a 5K trail run (3.1 miles) at 8:30 a.m. The longer course combines primitive trail, doubletrack and singletrack.

Offered as a loop or an out-and-back, the route features significant elevation change and mixed terrain, sometimes rocky, sometimes smoother, through the forests surrounding town. The event honors Patty Brenner Hagberg and highlights the importance of sharing trails among different users. Participants enjoy a day of high-altitude running, rounded off by a prize drawing and a friendly post-race meal.
