Conquer the Canyon

Conquer the Canyon takes place in Redmond, Oregon, in early June, on the Dry Canyon Trail, a setting known for desert geology and volcanic history. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 9:00 a.m., the 10K at 9:15 a.m., the 5K at 9:30 a.m. and the 5K Doggie Dash, in which runners go with their dogs, at 9:33 a.m.

Runners follow scenic routes through natural landscapes and the city center, starting in downtown Redmond and ending at Centennial Park. The event has professional timing and support from event staff and medical personnel. Everyone who finishes receives a custom medal and can join a post-race party with music, food and drinks. Dry high-desert air and strong sun are typical, so drink often.
