Cline Buttes

Cline Buttes is a trail event in Redmond, Oregon, held on May 22, 2027, set against the stunning Three Sisters Wilderness to the west and the Central Oregon desert to the east. The landscape offers sweeping views, blazing sunsets and starry night skies. Runners choose their challenge: 3-, 6- or 12-hour events, a Last Person Standing race or a single 5K (3.1-mile) loop.

The course is a 5K loop with a steep 800-meter climb to the top of Cline Butte, followed by a fast, flowing descent, and then you go again. The event was created to bring runners together for a nighttime desert adventure with a genuine grassroots feel. Whether you are training for your first ultra, looking for steep climbing or pushing your limits in the Last Person Standing, Cline Buttes promises a rewarding experience in the heart of Central Oregon.
