About

The Chippewa Creek Challenge is a half marathon (13.1 miles) that winds through the Brecksville Reservation of the Cleveland Metroparks in Brecksville, Ohio. Runners take on the trail as the reservation's forest turns to vivid fall color, making for a scenic autumn outing in the Cleveland area.

The race's name nods to the spring migration of the reservation's local salamanders, an annual show of endurance that echoes the spirit runners bring to this half marathon each fall, mile after wooded mile.
