About

The Capt’n Karl’s Colorado Bend Night Trail Run takes place on July 17, 2027, in Bend, Texas, with distances of 5K, 10K, 20K (12.4 miles), 30K (18.6 miles) and 60K (37.3 miles). The 60K is a self-supported night race in an area of Texas known for its waterfalls and limestone cliffs.

Much of the race is run under the stars, which calls for a different approach to pacing and navigation than daytime trail races. The route crosses the rugged terrain typical of Central Texas, between canyons and creeks. This demanding race is aimed at experienced trail runners used to self-sufficiency and long-distance running at night.
