The Butte Challenge - Hermiston, OR offers a 10K (6.2 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles) in Hermiston, Oregon, on June 5, 2027. Organized by Hermiston XC and made possible by the generous support of many sponsors and volunteers, the event keeps growing year after year, bringing together runners, walkers, families and friends for a day of fun and fitness.

Every participant receives a custom Butte Challenge medal and a goodie bag at the finish. Those who register early are entered into a prize drawing with gifts from local sponsors. A community tradition, the Butte Challenge celebrates fitness and incredible local support, and has become one of eastern Oregon's favorite events.
