About

The Badger Mountain Challenge is a trail and ultra event in Richland, Washington, held on March 26–27, 2027, on mountain trails in an arid landscape near Kennewick. Runners can choose from several distances: the 100-mile race (listed at 98.6 miles / 158.6 km), the 50-miler (49.2 miles / 79.2 km), the 55K (37.2 miles / 59.8 km) and the 15K (9.3 miles / 15 km).

The courses cross wild, dry terrain and offer a wide range of options for trail runners and ultrarunners. The longest race packs about 14,600 feet (4,450 m) of elevation gain, while the 50-miler totals around 7,250 feet (2,210 m) and the 55K about 4,820 feet (1,470 m).
