Beaverhead Marathon and Half Marathon

The Beaverhead Marathon and Half Marathon takes place in Dillon, Montana, in late May. The marathon (26.2 miles) starts at 9:00 a.m. and the half marathon (13.1 miles) at 10:00 a.m., with both starting and finishing at Beaverhead Brewing Company. The route passes through town and the surrounding farmland, with views toward the Pioneer, Blacktail, Sweetwater, Highland and Tobacco Root mountains.

Runners find aid stations on the course and receive a race bag with a cap and stickers, a finisher medal and a post-race meal. Dillon sits at roughly mile-high elevation in southwest Montana, so expect thinner air and changeable spring weather, and dress in layers.
