About

The Beaufort Twilight Run takes place in Beaufort, South Carolina, in late March, as an evening festival that supports Riverview Charter School. This USATF-sanctioned event includes a 10-mile run and an 8K (5.0 miles) at 5:30 p.m., a 5K (3.1 miles) at 4:30 p.m., a youth 1-mile run, a 5K fun walk and a kids' quarter-mile fun run.

Runners can take on the 13.1 Challenge by completing both the 5K and the 10-mile. Awards go to top athletes, and the festivities after the race include food trucks and concerts. Registering in advance is recommended to be sure of a shirt. The Lowcountry can be warm and humid even as the sun sets, so start hydrating early, and wear light, breathable clothing.
