About
Bama Runs for Breast Cancer is a 5K (3.1-mile) color run on the University of Alabama campus in Tuscaloosa. It starts at Denny Chimes and follows the 5K Campus Loop. Students, faculty, staff and community members are all welcome.
The race is a charity event for the fight against breast cancer. In 2026, the money raised went to DCH Health System's Help & Hope Fund (the Paxman Project, which provides scalp cooling during chemotherapy) and to Universities Against Cancer's Pink Promise Fund.
