Autumn Leaves 50/50

The Autumn Leaves 50/50 near Saint Paul, Oregon, runs on a course that's about 80 percent paved bike path and 20 percent dirt single-track, kept flat and fast throughout — a gentle blend of easy footing and scenic surroundings. Distance options include roughly 18.6 miles, a 50K (31 miles), and the full 50 miles.

Because the race starts before sunrise, a headlamp is required for the first loop. A free kids' race (advance registration required) lets the whole family join the day. Pacers must sign a waiver, wear a bib, and can use aid stations, but aren't allowed to carry a runner's gear. A crew-support team is stationed at the start/finish area and at the halfway aid station near Oak Grove, making it easy for friends and family to cheer you on along this flat, fast course.
