About

The Wooden Shoe TulipFest Run takes place in Woodburn, Oregon, in the second half of March, and it is an off-road trail course that winds through the tulip fields of the Wooden Shoe TulipFest. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 7:30 a.m., and the 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) run/walk start at 8:30 a.m.

Runners should expect changeable weather and muddy ground. Admission to the festival is included in the registration, so you can stay and see the flowers after you finish. The Willamette Valley is often damp in March, so bring a rain jacket and a change of clothes for afterward, and wear trail shoes you do not mind getting dirty.
