About

The Zuzmara Half Marathon takes place in Budapest, Hungary, in January, with the 2027 edition held on 24 January. Its name, "zuzmara", means hoarfrost in Hungarian, a nod to the wintry conditions typical of this season-opening race.

Several distances are on offer: the classic half marathon (21.1 km), as well as 10 km and 5 km races, complemented by children's races.

The course is flat, which, combined with the crisp winter air, makes it a good route for fast times despite the low temperatures.
