Yellowstone City 30K

The Yellowstone City 30K (18 miles) is a trail race that showcases the natural beauty of the greater Yellowstone region near Pray, Montana. Runners cover a mix of off-road terrain — trails, gravel roads, and dirt roads — climbing to a high point with sweeping views of Emigrant Peak. The route passes historic sites, including the former mining settlement of Chico. In keeping with its cup-free, sustainability-minded approach, the race provides several aid stations along the way but asks runners to carry their own hydration and safety gear. The event also honors the local community's efforts to protect the surrounding landscape from industrial mining, helping preserve it for future generations.
