Whitefish Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K Presented by Hammer Nutrition

The Whitefish Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K takes place in Whitefish, Montana, in mid-May, and is presented by Hammer Nutrition. It has become one of the larger marathons in Montana, recognized by the Road Runners Club of America, and it draws more than 1,300 participants every year, often selling out quickly. The marathon, the half marathon and The Wave 5K all start at 8:00 a.m. at Depot Park.

All races finish at the same line, which strengthens the sense of community. Whitefish sits near Glacier National Park, and the setting makes the event a popular runcation destination. Participants come from more than 30 states each year, and special lodging rates are available. Mountain weather in May can change quickly, so be ready for cool or wet conditions.
