The Big Mountain Run - Danny On Hill Climb takes place at Whitefish Mountain Resort in Whitefish on July 24, 2027: a 3.8-mile (6.1 km) climb with 2,201 feet (671 m) of elevation gain, open to all ages. Participants run, walk or hike up the hill, then ride the lift back down.

Awards go to the fastest runners and dogs, and a birthday club recognizes those who finish the course within their age. The event supports the Glacier Nordic ski team and local youth programs.
