About

The Whiskey Run takes place in Madison, Alabama, in the Huntsville area, in late May, and is organized by Run Rhino. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 8:00 a.m., and the 10K and 5K follow at 8:30 a.m. After the running, participants can enjoy local specialties, whiskey tastings and live music.

The Whiskey Run series visits several cities in the Southeast, including Atlanta, Nashville, Huntsville and Knoxville. Run Rhino is based in Chattanooga and has long experience with races and events such as the 7 Bridges Marathon and the Scenic City Mud Run. Alabama mornings in late May are warm and humid, so keep up with fluids both before and after the party.
