About
The Whidbey Island Marathon takes place in Oak Harbor, Washington, in late April, on the Washington coast. The full marathon (26.2 miles) starts at 7:00 AM and is a point-to-point course that crosses the Deception Pass Bridge, which is temporarily closed for the race. Other options include a half marathon (13.1 miles) at 8:30 AM, a 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) at 9:00 AM and a kids' run of about 0.6 miles at 11:00 AM.
