The Western Springs Tower Trot 5K/10K in Western Springs is an endurance event supporting the Healing Hearts for Ashley foundation, which focuses on cardiovascular genetics research. On May 22, 2027, the 10K (6.2 miles) starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 5K Run (3.1 miles) at 9:30 a.m.

Participants can sign up for several race categories, including a combined race called “The Double.” The event is open to all ages, with awards by age group. Registration includes a T-shirt, refreshments and entertainment. The race is timed and scored, with results posted live online.
