We Love Teachers 5K - Houston

The We Love Teachers 5K - Houston takes place on October 9, 2027, in Spring, in the Houston area of Texas. There is a single format, a 5K starting at 8:00 a.m., open to runners and walkers alike, with a virtual participation option.

It is hard to find a more welcoming event: the distance lends itself to coming with family, coworkers or a running club, with no specific training required. Those who want to make it a real speed test will benefit from a 20-minute warm-up and from starting at a sustainable pace rather than sprinting the opening stretch. The event celebrates teachers, and each participant can dedicate their run to one of them, who receives a digital certificate. Music, food, prizes by category, a shirt and a finisher medal round out the morning.
