About

Warrior Rush - Army of Hades - 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon 13.1 is held at Hickory Creek Preserve in New Lenox, Illinois, on November 1, 2026. The half marathon (13.1 miles) starts at 9 a.m., with the 10K and the 5K following at 9:15 a.m. on this Halloween-themed morning.

The course comes with themed challenges along the way, including an army of zombies to get past, and the event is open to all levels. Chip timing, original Halloween medals and soft cotton shirts come with entry, and the after-party brings snacks, drinks and photos. Given the theme, treat this as a fun run rather than a personal-best attempt — but 13.1 miles still asks for real preparation, so give it about twelve weeks with one long run a week. The shorter distances need much less.
