About

The Velvet Run is a women-only race held in Košice, Slovakia, on 26 June 2027, with a 10 km, a 5 km and a 5 km Nordic walking event. The course is completely flat and gently urban, passing through the city park and the historic centre.

The event puts solidarity between runners ahead of competition, making it a good choice for a first race as well as a fast outing for more experienced runners. The calm, supportive atmosphere turns every kilometre into a shared celebration of exercise and health.
