La course « Chomp for Charity 5K », organisée dans le cadre de l’UF Homecoming & Gator Growl, se déroule au Depot Park afin de soutenir la Humane Society of North Central Florida, un refuge « no-kill » qui se consacre à la prévention de l’euthanasie des animaux de compagnie en bonne santé et pouvant être soignés. Les participants seront jumelés à des animaux du refuge pour l’occasion. Des récompenses seront remises aux trois premiers de chaque catégorie, hommes et femmes.
