About

The Tupelo Marathon and 14er takes place in Tupelo, Mississippi, on September 5, 2027, with an out-and-back marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) on beautiful rolling country roads. The event also includes a 14.2-mile race (22.9 km) on the same route, which splits from the marathon at mile 13.

Both races start early, at 5:00 a.m., to beat the heat, with water stations and cheering spectators along the way. Participants receive a long-sleeve race shirt and finishers get a medal. Awards go to the top runners in various categories, and registration caps and age restrictions apply. Refreshments are served after the race, and the marathon is a Boston Marathon qualifier.
