About

Tupelo Marathon & 14.2 Miler takes place on August 29, 2027, in Tupelo, Mississippi. Two distances are offered: the marathon (26.2 mi) and a 14.2-miler (22.9 km). Start times are not listed in our records.

A marathon in Mississippi at the end of August is among the hardest scheduled races in the country, and the field that turns out knows it: this is an event with a reputation rather than a personal-best course. Start before dawn if the schedule allows, halve your pace ambitions, and treat the 14.2-miler as a legitimate choice rather than a lesser one.
