About

Trick or Treat Trot - Goodrich runs in Goodrich, Michigan, on October 30, 2027. The morning opens with a one-mile kids' run at 10 a.m., and the 5K follows at 10:30 a.m., a schedule that lets families watch the younger runners finish before the main event starts.

A Halloween-morning 5K on the roads is about as approachable as racing gets. Walkers and first-timers can cover the distance comfortably, while experienced runners get a short, fast target late in the fall season. If it is your first 5K, six weeks of running three or four times a week will get you to the line ready; if you are racing it, warm up properly, because 3.1 miles leaves no time to ease into the effort.
