Treasure Coast Endurance Challenge

Treasure Coast Endurance Challenge is held in Hobe Sound, in Martin County, Florida, on November 7, 2026. Three formats are on the schedule: a four-hour race, an eight-hour race as the longest option, and a 5K trail run. The timed events are measured in hours rather than miles, so each entrant covers as much ground as they can within the time limit, over the natural terrain typical of this stretch of the Florida coast. Hobe Sound sits near Stuart and the Blowing Rocks Preserve.

Timed racing suits runners who are comfortable with long efforts and willing to manage themselves: pacing, fueling and the decision to keep going for one more lap are all yours to make. Come in with several months of aerobic work behind you, practice eating and drinking on your long runs, and plan the first hour to feel far too easy. The 5K gives anyone not ready for that a short trail race on the same day.
