The Shannon Trail Series - San Angelo State Park offers a 15K (9.3 miles) and a 5K (3.1 miles) trail race in San Angelo on February 20, 2027, both starting at 8:00 a.m.
The San Angelo Road Lizards trail series is made up of three races held at Middle Concho Park, Twin Buttes Reservoir and San Angelo State Park. This final race starts at the Chaparral Pavilion in San Angelo State Park, which also hosts other trail races.
Races are chip-timed, but awards are based on official time. Finisher medals are handed out on race day only, and overall awards go to the top three men and women at each race.
