Trail Run Xtreme in Portage offers a 12K Trail Race (7.5 miles) at 9:00 a.m. and a 3K Kids Race at 8:30 a.m. on May 16, 2027, giving participants a demanding run on wooded trails strewn with roots, hills, logs and mud puddles. Runners follow a well-marked loop with the help of volunteers, and the event wraps up with a post-race meal.

Participants receive an official race T-shirt, and awards go to top finishers across age groups and categories. The event supports the Outback Trail Commission and American Legion Post 260. A special rate is available for runners 18 and under.
