The Track the Future 5K in Axton is a community 5K run, with a 3K walk, held on September 4, 2027, with both events starting at 9:00 a.m. It supports the Bassett High School cross-country team.
Participants of all ages are encouraged to take part in a scenic setting. Proceeds will help fund a new rubber track for current and future student-athletes, promoting an active lifestyle while expanding sports opportunities for young people.
