About
Tower 2 Tower 5K takes place in Lenexa, Kansas, in Johnson County, on May 1, 2027, with the in-person 5K (3.1 miles) starting at 8:00 AM. The course runs between two water towers, and the race marks National Drinking Water Week while supporting Water for People, a nonprofit working on access to safe drinking water worldwide. A virtual option is also available. No elevation gain is listed.
Point-to-point 5Ks like this one need a little logistics planning: check where you leave your bag and how you get back to your car before race morning rather than after. The distance itself asks for nothing exotic, three easy runs a week will carry most people to the finish, and if you would rather take part from home, the virtual entry covers the same ground on your own route.
