Time Travel Half-Marathon (and 5k/10k) - Tulsa

The Time Travel Half-Marathon (and 5K/10K) in Tulsa, Oklahoma, is a time-travel-themed family event held in early January, with every race starting at 9:00 a.m. The lineup includes a half marathon (13.1 miles), a 10K (6.2 miles), a 5K (3.1 miles), a 1-mile run and a kids' dash.

Costumes are encouraged, and there are options for all ages and abilities, including untimed distances. Participants in most events receive a personalized bib, a soft shirt and a finisher medal. The untimed kids' race comes with a mini bib, a kids' shirt and its own medal. The organizers focus on fun, fitness and family participation rather than fast times. Oklahoma winters swing widely, from frosty mornings to mild afternoons, so wear layers that are easy to peel off before the start.
