About

The Golden Driller Marathon takes place in Tulsa, Oklahoma, in mid-April, on the paved trails of the Riverparks system along the Arkansas River, and takes its name from the city's well-known Golden Driller statue. The marathon (26.2 miles) and half marathon (13.1 miles) start at 7:00 AM, and the 10K (6.2 miles) and 5K (3.1 miles) at 7:30 AM. The courses are mostly flat, with one notable hill on the marathon route. All participants receive a technical shirt and a custom medal, with an after-race beverage for those over 21. The marathon is USATF-certified and offers a chance to qualify for Boston, and its small size keeps the atmosphere welcoming.
