About

The Tiger Prowl 5K is an annual 5K (3.1-mile) run/walk held each September at Lakewood High School in Lakewood, Colorado. The race starts at 9 a.m. and the course follows well-shaded neighborhood roads in Lakewood, with chip timing. A youth 5K is also offered for kids 12 and under.

This community tradition is a fundraiser: registration fees go back into Lakewood High School student programs, including theater, music groups, athletics and clubs, through the Lakewood High School Foundation. Runners who register by the deadline get a race T-shirt, and awards include overall male and female winners and best costume.
