Therapy Center Annex 5K

Therapy Center Annex 5K is held in Jennings, Louisiana, on October 31, 2026. A 1-mile fun run opens the morning at 8:00 a.m. and the 5K, 3.1 miles, follows at 8:30 a.m. Both are open to runners and walkers of any level, costumes are encouraged, and awards go for performance as well as creativity. Food trucks, music and family activities follow the finish, and proceeds go to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.

The half hour between the two starts is enough to run the mile as a warm-up before racing the 5K, which is a genuinely good way to get sharp for a short race. Otherwise the mile suits kids and first-timers while the 5K suits anyone running a few times a week. Test a costume on a training run first: the pieces that annoy you after half a mile become unbearable by mile three.
