About

The Oregon Trail® Game 5K, organized by the Oregon City Schools Foundation, is a 5K (3.1 miles) in Oregon City inspired by the classic 1980s computer game. The Oregon Trail Game® 5K starts at 8:00 a.m. on May 22, 2027.

Participants take on the role of pioneers and make strategic decisions as they complete the course through historic downtown Oregon City. Each runner earns both a timed score and a game score based on the choices made along the way. The Oregon Trail Game® Kids’ Fun Run (listed at 1 mile) follows at 9:00 a.m., with distances varying by age group. Proceeds go to Oregon City schools.
