About

The Longest Day is an endurance challenge in Greenville at The Preserve at Lakewood, offering a 100K (62 miles), a 50K (31 miles), a marathon (26.2 miles / 42.2 km) and a half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km) on June 12, 2027, with every distance starting at 6:30 a.m.

Open to runners of all levels, the event takes place in a scenic 120-acre nature preserve with diverse wildlife and winding trails. Participants cover a two-mile loop over rolling hills, with cutoff times that get shorter each lap for an extra twist. Basic aid stations offer snacks and drinks, but this is a cupless event, so bring your own hydration gear. You can also set up your own tent for comfort and enjoy both the challenge and the camaraderie in a beautiful natural setting.
