The Jackpot Mile 2 in Chico is a one-of-a-kind 2-mile (3.2 km) race hosted by the Chico Running Club on June 5, 2027, at 8 a.m. Participants choose a target pace, and the goal is to come as close to it as possible without using any timing devices during the race.

Winners are determined by how accurately they match their target pace, and a share of the jackpot goes to the top finishers. Proceeds support the Chico Running Club's mission on behalf of local runners and events. Refreshments are served after the race.
