The Frozen Snot

The Frozen Snot takes place in Wayne Township, Pennsylvania, in early February, with all trail races starting at 7:30 a.m. Three courses are offered: a short course of 8.3 miles, a long course of 13.5 miles and a 25K, which is about 15.5 miles.

The event is based at the Restless Oaks restaurant, and bibs can be picked up on race day. Registration is online, with a waitlist once the event reaches capacity, and partial refunds are available until a set date. Participants receive a bib, professional timing and a marked course, but no other items. The race rules must be followed or participants risk disqualification without a refund. February in western Pennsylvania means cold, wet or snowy trails, so dress for the conditions and bring shoes with real traction.
