About

The Ed. Foundation of South Brunswick - 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run/Walk takes place in South Brunswick, New Jersey, on November 1, 2026, in Monmouth Junction. The 1-mile fun run/walk goes first at 9:10 a.m. and the 5K (3.1 miles) follows at 10 a.m., both on scenic courses, with proceeds supporting the township's education foundation.

Running the mile before the 5K is an option worth considering if you want a hard warm-up, and the fifty-minute gap gives you time to recover between them. All fitness levels are welcome, which makes this a genuinely inclusive way to get involved locally. For the 5K, a month of consistent running with one faster session a week is enough to arrive ready to push the pace.
