About

The Big BO 50k is an ultramarathon in Indianapolis on October 9, 2027, inviting runners of every level to discover the B&O Trail. Alongside the 50K (31 miles), which starts at 7:00 a.m., there are 25K (15.5 miles), 10K and 5K races, all starting at 9:00 a.m.

The event starts at Daredevil Brewing Co. and follows a scenic course through Marion and Hendricks counties before heading back toward downtown Indianapolis. The course is designed to suit seasoned ultrarunners and first-timers alike, and participants can expect an encouraging atmosphere built around endurance and camaraderie.
