About

The 5.4 Funky Run is a disco-themed road race held every August at Vista View Park in Davie, Florida. The 5.4-mile course is made up of two 2.7-mile loops that take runners over the park's two hills. A single-loop option, the 2.7 "Not quite as Funky Run," covers 2.7 miles.

The gun goes off at 7:00 a.m., and the event is directed by an RRCA Certified Race Director. Awards go to the top three male and female finishers overall and in each age group, and a costume contest honors the funkiest outfits. Music and an after party kick off once runners start crossing the finish line.
