The Tantalus 10-Mile Challenge in Honolulu is a 10-mile (16.1 km) race on September 26, 2027, starting at 6:30 a.m., on a course built for athletes who love both hills and speed.

Starting on Makiki Heights Drive near Halau Kumana school, the loop heads up a demanding climb of about five miles (8 km) along Makiki Heights Drive and Tantalus Drive, then pays it back with a fast descent on Round Top Drive. The race ends with one last tough climb on Makiki Heights Drive that pushes runners all the way to the line. For those who prefer a more relaxed pace, an early start is offered to walkers and runners expecting to finish in more than 2:30, although they are not eligible for overall or age-group rankings.
