About
The Superior Fall Trail Race takes place in Lutsen, Minnesota, on an extremely hilly course that winds through mountain ridgelines broken up by forest, waterfalls, and wild mountain streams. Three distances are on offer: a marathon (26.2 miles), a 50-mile race, and a full 100-mile ultramarathon, each delivering a serious endurance test out in rugged, remote terrain. The technical, rolling singletrack rewards strong climbers and runners comfortable spending long hours on their feet in the backcountry, with the shortest distance still offering a full taste of the course's demanding character.
