Sunset Bay Trail Runs offer a trail half marathon (13.1 miles / 21.1 km), a 15K trail run (9.3 miles), a 4-mile trail run (6.4 km) and a 1-mile beach fun run in Coos Bay on August 28, 2027. The half marathon starts at 8:45 a.m., the beach fun run at 9:15 a.m., and the 15K and 4-mile races at 9:30 a.m.

The races deliver a challenging run along the Oregon coast, with hilly terrain and panoramic views, including the chance to spot sea lions and whales. The event emphasizes environmental responsibility with a zero-waste policy and encourages participants to carry their own water bottles.
