About
The Elkton Butterfly Run is a colorful 5K family fun run/walk held in Elkton on June 19, 2027, on a scenic course.
The race starts at the ECEC native plant garden, then winds through Elkton on the riverside trail and crosses Elk Creek before returning to the ECEC. Run or walk along the banks of the Umpqua River and celebrate amid clouds of color thrown by enthusiastic volunteers stationed at various points along the route. Bypass lanes are available at each color station for anyone who prefers to avoid the color clouds. Participants are encouraged to wear protective eyewear.
