The Strides in Solidarity 5k - UVA Partners in Health Engage is a 5K run/walk in Charlottesville on April 3, 2027, starting at 9:00 a.m. Organized by Partners in Health Engage at UVA, it raises money for tuberculosis programs in Sierra Leone.

Although tuberculosis is curable, it remains a major health problem there because of a lack of access to treatment. The club aims to support Partners in Health by funding treatment, diagnostic services and nutritional support, and all proceeds go directly to Partners in Health for its work in Sierra Leone.

Participants can run, jog or walk, and prizes donated by local businesses will be awarded across age groups.
