The Strider Mile is held on the track at Greenbrier Christian Academy in Chesapeake, Virginia, on August 7, 2027, with an 8:00 a.m. start. The program includes the Strider Mile (1.6 km), a 4K, the Strider Walk and the Tot Trot, a 400-meter fun run for children under five.

The event also features competitive racewalking and a medley relay. Water and post-race refreshments, including pizza and drinks, are provided, and awards go to the top finishers in various categories. The race is part of the Strider Grand Prix and Youth Grand Prix series.
