The Stride Along the Tide 5K is a family-friendly 5K run/walk along the Nahant, Massachusetts, shoreline, hosted by the Demakes Family YMCA and starting at 8:30 a.m. on May 8, 2027.

Proceeds go to the YMCA of Metro North annual fund, which supports child care, camps and wellness programs. The race is chip timed, top finishers receive awards, and early registrants get a T-shirt. Participants can enjoy post-race refreshments, with prizes in every age group. The race is part of the YMCA of Metro North Road Race Series, which raises funds to provide inclusive programs to community members regardless of income.
